This Edwardian property in Hove was completely remodelled and extended by Camillin Denny Design, the interior works included the main bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces which were reconfigured and opened up.
The extension and reconfiguration of the kitchen and utility areas allowed the house to open up on the west side to give a view of the rear garden whilst flooding the kitchen with light. A double garage was demolished that had blocked the house from connecting with the rear garden and making space for the kitchen extension and reconfiguration.

Solar panels and solar hot water were added to the roof areas and insulation as well as double glazing to all of the main room windows and doors following the original window design. The ground floor rooms were insulated under the floors and new north facing walls.
Winner of the Sussex Heritage Trust Award 2010 Residential Award, the Sussex Heritage judges said, “A prosperous Edwardian villa elegantly brought into the 21st Century. A high standard of energy conversion, decoration and use of materials. Thoughtful reorientation of the house and garden.”
